Events for folks who love going out and not getting sick
Enjoy a creative session and make something beautiful for Breathe Easy’s first ever zine.
Our Covid-safer zine-making workshop will be in a small-group setting, led by fantastic Sheffield-based printmaker Sarah Calcutt of Heath and Mud magazine. After running some smash-hit lino-printing sessions for Breathe Easy, Sarah is returning to facilitate a creative space with writing prompts, lino tools, collage and a range of art materials.
We know we’ve got a zine loving community - but social-only tickets are also available if you just want to enjoy a drink and a chat.

As usual, our Covid-safer social will be hosted at Sheffield’s fantastic DIY community event space and collective, Gut Level (18+ age restriction). We have exclusive use of the space. A very good value (cashless) bar is currently offering non-alcoholic drinks only including pop, mocktails, hot tea and coffee. If you want to drink alcohol you can BYOB. There is also a luxurious separate rest space that has a room-sized king+ bed (up a flight of stairs).
The theme for the zine is “community care” and the Breathe Easy community is invited to make something creative on this theme. Arrive with ideas already in mind, or come to get inspired!
If you need additional time to finish your piece, you will have until the end of March.
Sarah will collate submissions for printing and finished zines will be available to purchase.
